PLEASANT GROVE, UT – The Utah Youth Education in Shooting Sports program (UTYESS) has received a $10,000 gift from Larry and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA. This gift will provide funding to promote Utah’s youth shooting sports activities and provide funding to help pay for operating costs of the statewide program.
UTYESS currently operates with thirteen team across the state with over 180 student athletes.
Larry and Brenda Potterfield have been tremendous supporters of UTYESS. Since 2012 Larry and Brenda Potterfield have given UTYESS $720,000 and have matched MidwayUSA Foundation Team and Agency Endowment donations with nearly $90,000. That is over $800,000 donated by Larry and Brenda Potterfield to promote and further youth shooting sports in the state of Utah.
